Evil Is A Relay Sport When the One Who's Burned Turns to Pass the Torch

The week has moved on its course

with the world holding its breath

waiting for news on the

Christa Pike execution.

Trump’s bagboy Kavanaugh

that insufferable bitch

overruled the lower court’s ruling to

hold off with the killing, and

the number of

screw-ups

regarding it have been

nothing

short of

spectacular.

Should Ms. Pike

awake ever again

is her time not

done now in full?

How much more can the nation want?

A once pedestal nation now run by

a band of rapists and homicidal

maniacs carrying out personal

vendettas and creating more

misery and sorrow and

Pike’s victim’s mother’s

31-year hatred, needing to

see the wrath of god in motion

how sick how vengeful and

godless

in and of itself

is that?

A sick country of old men

producing hatred and war

and destroying the globe while at it

a disgusting group of self-serving

lynchmen and bigots and murderous,

blood-thirsty, cosmetically altered

people in power seats seeking whatever

solution that will bring them the most

money and awaken fear in others.

A land of ill-wishing monsters and

marionet shadows doing whatever

they

are

told

to

do.

Serial killers.

Sadists.

Rednecks.

Elon Musk.

Today, I feel it would only serve them right if they ended up in another one of those gridlocks they tend to get into, one party against another, and for the whole world to turn their backs on the abomination, or, “the land of the free.”

To see one man

single-handedly

destroy a nation

is one thing.

To see his retarded

worldview defended and

strengthened by the likes of

Brett Kavanaugh,

whose time to pay for the

Trump-administered election into

the Supreme Court had obviously

come, is

quite another.

Fuck forgiveness.

Fuck mercy.

Fuck grace.

Fuck everything else but money, power, and glory.

Glory that is

smeared in bile

and

pentobarbital.

The title for this piece by the incomparable Fiona Apple, from the song Relay, found on her 2020 masterpiece album, Fetch the Bolt Cutters. I love you, thank you.
